If he didn’t know, then how bad does it look that he can’t even control those close to him? He would just be what Tony Blair shouted at John Major – weak! weak! weak! The latter I find impossible to believe because Gordon Brown has never been more higher in spirits, more full of conviction and confidence than he has been for quite sometime. When the boss is back, underlings never attack.
